Celtic Position -- St. Francis Xavier University
"The Department of Celtic Studies at St.
Francis Xavier University invites applications for a nine-month,
limited-term position at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor, depending
on qualifications. The position will
commence on 1 September 2012. The
successful candidate will have a PhD, or be near completion, in Celtic Studies
or closely related field. Fluency in
Scottish Gaelic as well as teaching experience and publications are
desirable. Candidates will be expected
to teach three courses for each of two semesters including Scottish Gaelic at
the first and/or second-year level; other courses to be determined. Electronic

containing a summary of teaching experience, a statement of teaching
philosophy, and a description of teaching and research interests to Dr. Michael
