The call for papers has just been announced for the Fourth International Conference on the Ulster Cycle, which will be held 27-30 June 2013 at Queen's University, Belfast.
"The conference will provide a forum for papers and discussion on all aspects of the Ulster Cycle or related areas of early Irish or comparative literature. Papers are invited on literature, language, history, mythology, archaeology or other relevant areas of research."
Abstracts of 200 words for papers of twenty minutes in length are due to conference organizers by 28 February 2013. For further information about the conference, visit the Queen's University website.

Call for Papers -- NAACLT 2013
The call for papers has been announced for the 2013 Conference of the North American Association for Celtic Language Teachers (NAACLT). The conference, entitled 'Additive Bilingualism: Beyond 1+1', will be held 29 May-1 June 2013 at the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute at the University of Ottawa. Abstracts for papers on any of the following topics are invited:
- Methods, techniques, and best practices in teaching Celtic languages
- Incorporating Celtic cultures into the classroom or learning experience
- Application of computer technology to Celtic language teaching or research
- Pedagogical materials: what works, what doesn't
- Topics in Celtic linguistics, sociolinguistics, and Second Language Acquisition
- Language policy and planning in the Celtic world
- Promotion and appreciation of Celtic languages and cultures
Call for Papers Reminder -- CSANA 2013
This is a reminder that the call for papers is still open for the annual CSANA conference, which will be held at the University of Toronto 18-21 April 2013. Abstracts for papers on any aspect of Celtic Studies are due to David N. Klausner by 1 January 2013, while abstracts for the special sessions honoring Ann Dooley and David Klausner are due Giselle Gos and Kristen Mills by 15 December 2012.

The call for papers has just gone out for the 27th Irish Conference of Medievalists, which will be held 10-12 July 2013 at University College Dublin. Call for Papers -- Irish and Scottish Conference, Aberdeen
The AHRC Centre for Irish and Scottish Studies at the University of Aberdeen is hosting a conference under the title "Cross-Currents" for "postgraduate students and research fellows" in Irish or Scottish Studies. The conference will be held 12-14 April 2013 on their campus. Abstracts of 200 words for papers of 25-minutes in length are due to Shane Alcobia-Murphy by 28 January 2013. Selected papers from the conference will be published.
Irish Conference of Medievalists -- Change of Dates
There has been a change of dates for the 27th Irish Conference of Medievalists in order to avoid a conflict with the Leeds International Medieval Conference. ICM will now be held 10-12 July 2013. The venue, University College Dublin, remains the same.
