'The School of Irish Learning in University College Cork is organising a conference in honour of Professor Seán Ó Coileáin, the recently retired Professor of Modern Irish, to mark his long and distinguished contribution to scholarship and to University College Cork. The conference will focus specifically on Agallamh na Seanórach, and on its centrality to Gaelic culture through the ages. It will run over two days: from Friday 7 September until Saturday evening, 8 September, 2012'.
