David Dumville of the University of Aberdeen will deliver a series of forty lectures in honor of the late Proinsias Mac Cana under the title "From Late Antiquity to Early Modernity: Towards a New History of Gaelic Literature, A.D. 250-1750." The first two lectures will be delivered at the Royal Irish Academy on 18 February 2013 from 11:00-12:00 and 2:00-3:00. The next six will be given at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, starting February 25.
